Here is what we know...The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) under Homeland Security has identified several businesses and services which they consider to be "essential" in order to secure critical infrastructure within our nation. Included in this advisory list "Residential and commercial real estate services, including settlement services" are considered essential services.
On April 1, 2020 Governor DeSantis said that the state of Florida will abide by the list outlined by the Department of Homeland Security during the "Stay at Home" order. Hope Home Inspections provides a real estate service and will continue to provide inspections and other services for Realtors and customers during the "Stay at Home" order. We will continue to take extra precautions while at properties (use disposable gloves, masks, etc) and practice social distancing to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
