Coronavirus Precautions: Doing Our Part to Protect Customers, Agents, and Inspectors

Coronavirus Precautions are part of how we protect our clients, our real estate partners, and our inspection team during on-site inspections. We stay open and continue performing inspections while following practical, safety-first protocols. We also focus on clear communication so you know what to expect before, during, and after the appointment.

We take this seriously because inspections require movement through many spaces and surfaces. Our goal is to reduce close contact, limit shared touchpoints, and keep the process smooth for everyone involved.

Coronavirus Precautions at the Property

Attendance and Access Options

If you prefer not to attend, we can complete the inspection without you on-site. With your permission, our inspector can use Supra E-keys to access the home when available. We can also provide a phone consultation to review findings and next steps.

Hand Hygiene

Our inspectors wash their hands regularly during the inspection. When sinks are available, they use soap and water. When they are not, inspectors use sanitizer and wipes as needed. CDC guidance highlights handwashing as one of the most effective ways to reduce the spread of germs.

Protective Gear and Surface Control

Inspectors wear disposable gloves and use face protection when appropriate. They also carry disinfecting wipes for situations where they must touch a surface directly. We aim to keep contact minimal while still completing a thorough inspection.

No Handshakes and Reduced Close Contact

Our inspectors do not shake hands. They maintain distance whenever possible. Florida Department of Health guidance also emphasizes avoiding close contact with sick individuals and limiting unnecessary physical contact.

If Someone Is Sick

If an inspector feels ill or has had a known exposure, they do not report to work. We reschedule as needed to protect clients and staff.

Training and Standards We Follow

Our inspectors complete InterNACHI’s COVID-19 Safety Guidelines training. This course focuses on jobsite hygiene, risk reduction steps, and practical procedures for inspection work.
